Organizer of rally in Caledonia, Ont., arrested at native occupation site
We are living in a police state where Canadian citizens can be arrested for simply showing allegiance to Canada in Caledonia! Gary McHale, the owner of CaledoniaWakeUpCall.com, has been busted by police for approached land WE OWN in Caledonia while waving a Canadian flag! As you know, Gary has been trying to raise public awareness for a long while to the plight of Caledonia residents who have been left out to dry by government and the OPP after aboriginal terrorists illegally occupied a housing development in Caledonia. Considering how the police have done absolutely nothing to stop the terrorists from breaking thousands of Canadian laws to date, busting Gary is retarded in the extreme! Please do what you can to help sort this out as quickly as possible. Knowing Gary, he would really appreciate as much media attention as possible to bring extreme pressure on the police and the provincial and federal government to put an end to the two-tiered police state that we're living in. Criminals should be arrested. Citizens waving a Canadian flag in Canada should not!

What Are The Facts
I support McHale in principle and give hime credit for sticking to his guns when it comes to the debacle known as Caledonia but in fairness was he really arrested for just for waving a Canadian flag. I would like to hear exactly what the charges are......
just what we need. Some loud mouthed idiot to fan the flames even further and cause more shit. That takes real intelligence. Another candidate (and anyone who supports him) for the Darwin awards.

ReplyDeletefacts. Well. While we're all busy discussing facts, and making our 'point', neither side of the debate, if we can even call it that any longer, get it.

We have a dispute. A group of people breaking the law to protest what they see as a great injustice. There a couple ways to deal with it. Bring in an armed group (OPP, army) and point all manner of firearms at them. Or, don't do that, and allow their unlawful protest, and try to manage the situation carefully.
Both methods have their problems, and will be criticized by everyone. So far, as far as I know, no one has been shot.
The responsibility, lies with both the federal government, and the provincial government. Both in my view have failed. The federal government, is the worst offender. They've done absolutely nothing. And apparently, will continue to do nothing, because they're afraid of getting involved in something that could cause them more problems they already have. So much for a 'new' government which promised action.
So some loud mouthed moron decides to make a point. Which seems to be, hey, I can go cause shit too.
Congratulations. He succeeded.
And we're all better for it.
