Still A Lot Of Work To Do

Tories hold slim poll lead as Liberal support falls back
The Liberals' steady surge in public support under Michael Ignatieff's leadership has levelled off, but the party remains in a tight race with the governing Conservatives, suggests a new poll.

  1. a small 2 or 3% dip in a couple spots nationally, is hardly a trend.

I would say, the disastrous distant 3rd place showing in Quebec, and, to put it into context, surging liberal support compared to under Dion, I'd say the real story here, is that Harper, is toast. If these attack ads don't produce much more dramatic results for them and soon, what do they have left?

Inept handling of so many things. Iggy will begin using Harper's record, and the dismal economy, which despite some ok news here and there, isn't going to recover for some time yet despite the howls of the conservatives.

Iggy won't need to attack Harper personally as Harper has done, he'll attack the party's record. And the ego, and head in the sand reactions I see from conservatives, will likely be their undoing.

    you watch...
