Keeping the heat on the TCHC
A good way for any public agency to establish, or re- establish, its credibility with the public is to respond quickly to legitimate public complaints.
Privatize "social housing" and apply the same standards and regulations that are faced by "landlords" and tenants in the free market. Bad landlords and bad tenants will be turfed if they don't measure up and it will be done in a timely manner. Those who "truly need" social housing will benefit.
