If your kids are CyberBullies I will bet they are potential bullies in the real world BUT the real culprit is you. Ask yourselves some questions:
*where did your kids get the money to buy the iPhone, iPad, computer?
*have you taken the time to talk to the retailer, ISP, etc. to see how you can control useage, content, etc.
*do your kids spend an inorderinate amount of time online.
*do they have friends over do they spend an inorderinate amount of time online
*do they and their friends drop the names of other kids frequently but you have never met these kids
* would they allow them unsupervised access to a loaded handgun? Not likely so the question is what controls do you have in place for these potentially dangerous weapons...

Lots of us were bullied

I recently found some provocative pictures of my 13-year-old step-daughter on her computer. She was experimenting with her looks. I made her delete all of the photos right in front of me.

Will the social in-activists, who eventually become cottage industries thanks to government programs/grants, ever tackle the occurances of what they define as "bullying" when it occurs in the adult world?  I doubt it! This would mean being nice to employees in fast food restaurants, shop clerks, Walmart Greeters, etc., etc.

Paul Russell's actions can be discussed BUT as a parent HE took action...

The email letters I get from readers now are more literate and thoughtful than the paper ones were 30 years ago.

I would attribute much of this to Cut & Paste, Spellcheck, Bloggers, and possibly because the National Post is not "free." Want proof? Glance at Comments in The Sun, Now, Metro, et al and remember 30 years ago libraries were not the bastions of many of the unemployed with access to technology and history.

When I lived in Milwaukee, I occasionally met proggs who would lament that the city was “so segregated.” The looks on their faces when I’d mention the “for rent” signs in the black neighborhood where I worked–easily a third what they were paying for similar square footage in their white suburbs, and walking distance to small minority-owned shops!–were priceless.



No, what they wanted was to force other, less “enlightened” white people to move into those neighborhoods, while also ripping blacks out of their established neighborhoods and dispersing them into poor white neighborhoods (leaving their well-off communities intact). No consideration at all that people might not want to live so far from their churches or businesses or favorite restaurants or extended families.
