If the Italians lived up to their reputation and if you met with the Mayor of Milan you might have had your ass pinched but as usual in Toronto we have Miller getting his stooges, he doesn't have the balls to do it himself, to grab us by the balls and squeeze and squeeze. It looks like Harper has repaid him for his support during the last election and now his only hope is McGinty....
Mayor finds new ways to tax Torontonians

I had to laugh when I saw the document containing Mayor David Miller's latest attempt to make good on his new powers as emperor of Toronto.
The document -- loaded with the requisite bureaucratic mumbo-jumbo -- is entitled "A Discussion of Public Policy Revenue Tools under the City of Toronto Act."
What a pile of nonsense.
It is nothing but yet another attempt by the mayor -- and the leftist lackeys who hang on his every word -- to find new ways to tax Toronto residents to death.
His Blondness could win an award for his chutzpah.
Before I left for Italy on assignment two weeks ago, the mayor was busy selling himself and his "One Cent Now" GST grab -- namely his $150,000 campaign to exact $400-million a year from the federal government.
On the very day I returned -- last Friday -- he was peddling his shopping list of eight "revenue tools" (they're not taxes, he said) to exact at least $340-million more from Torontonians over the next few years.
(It should be noted that the discussion paper was prepared with the assistance of a $75,000 consultant despite a variety of six-figure policy wonks located in the city manager's office. But then what's another $75,000 to the socialists?)
