When Liberals aren't accusing the government of deliberately sabotaging the H1N1 vaccine campaign, they apparently fill in the hours reading NDP policy manuals.
NDP leader Jack Layton has spent many happy hours flaying credit card companies for their devious and dishonest practices. The credit card industry is a natural target for the NDP, since it makes much of its money by charging usurious interest rates to people foolish enough to run up balances they can't pay off. People who get themselves into trouble through their own actions are by definition victims, as far as the NDP is concerned, and a big, fat, profitable industry that makes its living exploiting such foolishness is an obvious villain.
Layton must be making headway with that argument, because now the Liberals want in on it. Easier than thinking up their own policies, I guess:
