Huh?

The Globe And Mail issues this useless information: "The Decima Research survey, provided to The Canadian Press, puts the Conservatives and Liberals in a statistical dead heat in national support. But when Alberta respondents are taken out of the poll, the Liberals are seven percentage points ahead of the Conservatives in the rest of the country."

Does this mean that if Quebec voters were taken out of the poll the liberals would go down to defeat?

It is unlikely Harper will lose support in the west but it is possible that he would gain seats in Quebec, thanks to his "nation" policy, and when he implements the environmental iniatives being put forward by the ndp, liberals, bloc and greens, then logic would say that members of these parties would vote conservative.
