Violent Saturday In Toronto With Shooting, Stabbing, And Beating
Saturday April 7, 2007
It was a violent start to the weekend on the streets of Toronto Saturday, with a shooting, stabbing and vicious beating.
The Emergency Task Force searched for a suspect in a shooting that took place near Kipling and Finch.
It followed an argument involving a group of young men inside a store at the Rowntree Gates Plaza.
The 22-year-old victim was shot twice including once in the head, but miraculously he's expected to be o.k.
A stabbing victim has serious but non-life threatening wounds after an attack inside an apartment.
It happened just before 6:00pm on York Mills near the Don Valley Parkway. A suspect is in custody.
And a hammer is believed to have been used in a brutal attack on a man and woman near Bayview and Eglinton.
It happened inside a home, leaving the victims with serious wounds. There's no word yet if they're husband and wife, but reports suggest the attack stemmed from a domestic situation.
