Lest We Forget/Admiral Stockdale

Vimy memorializes the deaths of 3,600 Canadian soldiers, with thousands more wounded, capturing a 150-metre-high ridge in northern France, which British and French troops had not been able to take from the Germans, despite suffering horrendous casualties.

And how are we recognizing the deaths and suffering of the current conflicts in Afganhistan and Iraq.......

Fury as the hostages sell stories

Question: What ever happened to "Let's Roll?"
By Michelle Malkin · April 07, 2007 11:14 AM

Answer: It became "Let's Roll Over."

Dean Barnett compares the United 93 revolt and the British Royal Navy rollover:

What a strange and dismal trip it has been for the Western world, going from “Let’s Roll” to “Fighting Back Was Not An Option” in scarcely more than five years. One can only hope that when the history of our era is written, the former will turn out to be the immortal quote, not the latter.
