While it is fashionable to look for scapegoats, and lord only know dinosaurs in the union movement make it easy, we have to take some of the responsibility for continually electing politicians that have agendas not clearly spelled out in their election campaigns.

The taxpayers of Vancouver held hostage. The City of Toronto forced into budget crisis. Calgary teetering on the brink of municipal labour unrest. Montreal headed for a major metro-wide service-destroying city workers' strike later this year
