Lemon: Bob Rae Sighting in Regent Park

Bob Rae just posted an article (he might have written) that describes a recent walk through Regent Park.
Of course he ties the neighbourhood to gun violence. Although Regent Park is mostly rubble during its reconstruction and the gun violence he reports on is in other parts of Toronto.
He gets to refer to himself in the third person and criticize all around him (including the Federal Government and the current McGuinty Grits) and position himself as the champion of a "New Federalism". Take that Stephane.
I guess he forgets that he did nothing for housing when Premier except bring in rent controls.
Reportedly he's bought a home in Toronto Centre, though it's also reported that it sits unoccupied.
I wonder if his new digs are in Regent Park. Bet not. Bet it's gated.

Excrement-hiding bird championed as Liberal symbol

ST. JOHN'S, N.L. -- The beaver is one of Canada's national symbols and now a senior Liberal wants to make the puffin the symbol of the country's self-proclaimed natural governing party.

Liberal deputy leader Michael Ignatieff says the industrious little seabird -- with its black and white plumage, distinctive striped beak and orange feet -- is a "noble'' creature that exemplifies Liberal values.
