Why?

The last item has little to do with the first two and why would any sensible person follow the suggestion of someone that infantile.

SOMEONE TELL US WHY THIS IS A BAD IDEA...

• Tax plastic bags 15 cents each, as they do in Ireland, which vastly reduces their prevalence and raises money for environmental initiatives.

• Introduce a law that would force soft drink and bottled water manufacturers to take back their empty containers – they could charge a deposit, and consumers could either return them for a refund or place them in the blue box for the city to return. The city could use the refund money it receives from blue box items to fund the pick-up and sorting.

• Deny Barry Bonds recognition for breaking the home run record – not because of steroids, but because he's a prick.
