There's a place for law and there's a place for logic, but too often the former seems to cancel out the latter.

Thankfully, law and logic seem to be hand-in-hand in the wake of Toronto's first murder of 2008. In that horrific case, the Crown has announced it will seek adult sentences if the two teens accused of killing 14-year-old Stefanie Rengel are convicted.

That means, if they are found guilty, the Youth Criminal Justice Act will not shield the young killers from adult punishment for their adult crime.
