Give Mayor Miller More Power - NO! To be effective a mayor needs more control/power but with that extra control/power there needs to be a mechanism that would allow the electorate to get rid of that person quickly if they don't meet expectations or keep promises.

Why does a mayor who can't figure out his one-cent GST campaign is dead deserve more power?
After hearing Toronto wasn't at the top of the federal handout list in Tuesday's budget blueprint, Mayor David Miller declared Ottawa had strongly missed an opportunity to "invest significantly in Canada's prosperity."
