2 schools locked down during hunt for 16-year-old's attackers
A 16-year-old boy who was stabbed behind his northeastern Scarborough high school yesterday paid a steep price for trying to stave off a petty robbery, police said.
Mayor David Miller praised the "very good police work" and he said the weapons seizure illustrates the "breadth and depth" of the handgun problem. "These weapons should terrify people," he said. "They make lives unsafe for Torontonians, for our law enforcement personnel."
