Parenting Rule #1...
You're not first, anymore. Your needs, wants and problems take a back seat to the needs of your children. I shouldn't have to say it, anymore.

While Mommy was shirking her parental responsibilities to deal with "personal issues" -- which miraculously didn't prevent her from partying with friends at Caribana last weekend -- little Katelynn was being abused so badly by the long-term family friend charged with her care, that the autopsy took 6 1/2 hours "due to the "nature and severity of Katelynn's injuries".
Mommy wants to know "why my child?" The answer is very simple...because absolutely NOBODY -- including her own mother -- made her a priority.
And now she's dead. Like so many before her and still some people never learn.
