It is unfair to lay the blame on the doorstep of one of Comrade Miller's lackeys....the fish always stinks at the head.

Streetcars on back burner?

TTC's $3-billion deal to purchase 204 new vehicles has gone wonky

The credit crunch that's on around the world makes you wonder what's going on with the TTC's streetcar deal.

The plan to purchase 204 streetcars -- at a cost of about $1.3 billion -- is the largest transit infrastructure deal in the world. In its second phase, the deal could be worth $3 billion.

Right now, though, it's a boondoggle.
