Councillors ask why T.O.'s geese aren't cooked

City councillors whose wards border the lake think more needs to be done about the geese population.
As reported in the Sun, 1,360 kilos of Canada goose poop is deposited on the city's parks and beaches each day.
And even though the city's 3,000-5,000 resident geese are subjected to egg oiling (to prevent hatching), professional dog chasing, and relocation, the gaggle is still growing.
"We're not doing enough," said Councillor Bill Saundercook, who represents the High Park area and shoreline between Parkside and South Kingsway. MORE
