It's not Harper's fault, because it's the US's influence that caused the economic downturn.
Oh, but if it's a liberal we're talking about, oh. Well then it's his fault then.
In the US, it's those damn socialists. Even though they haven't been in power for almost a decade, just the fact the dems took congress late in the game in 06, made them completely responsible. Because they're liberals, or socialists, or something.
