The Fixer item that suggests some drivers are parking illegally in some bike lanes because the lane markings have become worn down is certainly reason enough to get the lines repainted pronto. Unfortunately, many motorists park in bike lanes even when the markings are as fresh as the morning dew.
If a few more of them received tickets, without the ticket having to be the result of a citizen or cyclist complaint, perhaps they would stop doing it so frequently. Better yet would be barriers that stop the infraction in the first place.
