What we are seeing, the government and related agencies pushing that the recession is over...
There is a big hangover coming. Anyone who lived through the recessions of the 80s, and 90s, knows this is far from over, and there is another bleak period coming real soon. Almost all of my business peers, we all quietly talk about what we know, is coming.
Any of the smart ones, are bracing for it.
There are a huge number of people who have lost their jobs. Businesses have closed their doors, and record number of bankruptsies. We seemed to have forgotten this, and the coming effect.
However it's difficult to walk the line between optimism, and being smart.
