I Thought The Olympics Was About The Atheletes?

As the ultimate Olympic skeptic, I can't believe I'm writing this, but here goes:
James Moore, the Heritage minister, was "disappointed" there wasn't more French at the opening ceremonies. (here)
Betty Fox is "disappointed" that her son Terry didn't get a bigger role in lighting the Olympic cauldron. (here
And Alden E. Habacon, who is CBC Television's manager of diversity initiatives (and you wondered how they managed to spend all that tax money) thinks the ceremonies were too white. (here).
