- Bio-cremation, the environmentally friendly way to meet your maker
- You shop at Whole Foods. You drive a hybrid car. You are as correct as they come. You are therefore a candidate for "bio-cremation," the eco-friendly way to meet your maker (who presumably made you without releasing any greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere). Bio-cremation, it says here, is properly known as alkaline hydrolysis, a process that "returns the body to its ashy state via a mixture of water, heat, pressure and potassium hydroxide, a compound often used to make liquid soaps."
