Time to merge Liberals and NDP

The federal Liberals plan to spend a lot of time this summer talking about forming a coalition government with the NDP after the next election. Instead, they should consider something that would do the country a lot more good — merging with the NDP before the next election.

Jeff Jedras: I think Ignatieff has it exactly right. Don’t get bogged down in pre-election coalition speculation. Run hard to win in all 308 ridings. But don’t rule out a post-election coalition or other arrangement

Don’t sacrifice the Liberal Party for a coalition of the centre-left

The ambition should be to defeat Harper, not surrender to Layton

I lean to the right but I still have a heart and if I have a mission it is to respond to attacks on people not available to protect themselves and to point out the hypocrisy of the left at every opportunity.MY MAJOR GOAL IS HIGHLIGHT THE HYPOCRISY AND STUPIDITY OF THE LEFTISTS ON TORONTO CITY COUNCIL. Last word: In the final analysis this blog is a relief valve for my rants/raves.
