That reality is just a unsupervised social network away...maybe it is time to take the doors off the kid's bedrooms and invite them to the living room to talk, watch tv, etc. and get out to school board meetings and the classrooms. This approach might seem a little dictitorial but look at what being friends with your kids has accomplished!
