TORONTO SILLY HALL

City eyes allowing non-Canadians to vote

realistically they pay taxes so they should be able to vote but IMHO it opens the floodgates for "leaders" in the community to become power brokers selling their bloc of votes to the highest bidder.

Ford ally: Sign-in policy 'ridiculous'

just about everyone in the workforce needs to "sign in" and in all fairness to Ford I think he has to go to extremes to protect himself and staff from the long knives of the left wing politicos and media. Personnally I would extend sign-in protocols at Silly Hall...have you ever watched council sessions on cable and seen the number of empty chairs? How can you vote on a matter if you haven't heard ALL the pros and cons?
