WHEN I WAS GROWING UP THERE WAS NO HOMELESSNESS!

...the mantra of the day was family and family values. There is no question we had "beggars" on our streets but the police and courts gave them directions to the city limits and seasonal work on farms and tobacco fields NOT to city hall.
