The Reality Behind Harper's Law & Order Stance

The eroding power of our Parliament
By ANGELO PERSICHILLI

Disclaimer: I'm in favour of divorce. I'm against the death penalty. I'm in favour of same-sex marriage. I'm against the war in Iraq. I believe minorities are discriminated against in Canada.

That should be enough to make me part of the elite group of people who have the right to express opinions on social issues without being called undemocratic, regressive, homophobic and racist.

But, I admit it, I am also against abortion, unless the life of the mother is in danger.

Nonetheless, I believe this shouldn't disqualify me from membership in that elite group of Canadians who call themselves "democratic, progressive and tolerant."

Having dealt with my qualifications, I'll express my opinion about the ongoing dispute regarding political interference and the judicial system.

About Me

My photo
I lean to the right but I still have a heart and if I have a mission it is to respond to attacks on people not available to protect themselves and to point out the hypocrisy of the left at every opportunity.MY MAJOR GOAL IS HIGHLIGHT THE HYPOCRISY AND STUPIDITY OF THE LEFTISTS ON TORONTO CITY COUNCIL. Last word: In the final analysis this blog is a relief valve for my rants/raves.
