City officials to take second look after organizers' homeless concert rejected

Poverty advocates are outraged after city officials rejected a proposal to stage a concert for the homeless on the grounds that street people are hard to police.

Street nurse Cathy Crowe, who has worked in the area of homelessness for more than 15 years, blasted the decision as a disgrace and a gross generalization.
