Pitfield Performance Improving Greatly

From Royson:
She's on her third campaign manager and there's still little evidence of momentum building behind her drive to unseat David Miller as mayor. But in her first major policy release on how she'd do the job differently, Councillor Jane Pitfield has created some separation between herself and the incumbent on the important matter of the city's financial mess. [...]
Pitfield has improved, but she had to. There yesterday to talk about the city's finances, she managed to steer clear of other matters that would take her off message. A few months ago, she would have gone off on several tangents. If anything, yesterday she needed to provide more details about how she would fix the city's mess.
On Wednesday, on John Oakley, Pitfield was bang on in her responses, not straying from her message (which she has been wont to do) and clearly expressing her wedges against Miller.
If she can pull in the financial and campaigning support that a successful mayoral race needs, she could be elected. Miller will hunker down over the next 60 days, but will still be getting daily media coverage just by doing his job. Pitfield is in tough, but she's in.

About Me

My photo
I lean to the right but I still have a heart and if I have a mission it is to respond to attacks on people not available to protect themselves and to point out the hypocrisy of the left at every opportunity.MY MAJOR GOAL IS HIGHLIGHT THE HYPOCRISY AND STUPIDITY OF THE LEFTISTS ON TORONTO CITY COUNCIL. Last word: In the final analysis this blog is a relief valve for my rants/raves.
