Liberal hopeful up against prominent gay opponents for Toronto centre
The fur-coated ladies of Rosedale who meet to discuss politics, fingers cocked over a cup of Earl Grey tea, will be sputtering with indignation when they consider the Liberal nomination fight in their Toronto Centre riding that is set to begin this week. The choice is between gay United Church minister Rob Oliphant, feisty lesbian human rights lawyer Meredith Cartwright and, worst of all if you're from trueblue Rosedale, Bob Rae.
