Rob Ford slammed for not spending

Councillor Rob Ford has been rapped on the knuckles for saving taxpayers money by using his own cash to cover office expenses.

A review conducted by integrity commissioner David Mullan and auditor general Jeff Griffiths found Ford failed to comply with city council policy by digging into his own pocket to pay certain office expenses and by failing to report to Toronto's clerk how much personal cash he spent.
