MORE LIKELY TO RECEIVE CHEERS OF WELL DONE...
This TTC worker will be a little embarrassed when he goes to work Monday
A hockey player with a team from the Toronto Transit Commission falls and takes down TTC CEO Andy Byford, TTC chairwoman Karen Stintz, her two children, city councillor Mary-Margaret McMahon and a few others at the ceremonial puck drop before a game between TTC employees and retired NHL players. Former Toronto Maple Leafs caption Rick Vaive, right, and Kevin Morton of the Amalgamated Transit Union managed to avoid the wipeout. “We were like the human equivalent of 10-pin bowling,” Ms. Stintz said. “ It was a strike.” She said there were mostly “bumps and bruises,” although paramedics were called to check out her daughter who hit the ice face-first with her mouth and nose.
