The Mind Numbing Effects of Living on the Left Coast

In recent days I've had occasion to meet a late 20's woman who originally hails from Brazil but has been living in Vancouver for the past 7 years. She's well spoken, has mastered the English language extremely well, and is currently in the processing of applying to become a Canadian citizen. She lives in Hedy Fry's riding. She's also Justin Trudeau's ideal New Canadian: Wildly misinformed and a liberal/Liberal through & through.
Since meeting her, the following has emanated from her vocal chords:

1. I'm studying for the citizenship test so I know much more about Canada and its history than you do.ove everything about Canada except Harper.
2. Let's face it, Pierre Trudeau was one of the greatest forces for good that this country has every seen.
3. Justin Trudeau is dreamy and I'd volunteer for him in a second.

To #4, I responded, "you mean you'd vote for his hair if it alone were running!" But on a serious note, the Conservative Party of Canada should not ignore the fact the fact that there are lots of people like her. Damning facts like this matter not to her. She is infected with a virulent strain of HDS, which should make Liberals everywhere so incredibly proud on this Canada Day.
