Come on folks it is a give away paper that caters to a segment of the population and seems to generate it's income mainly with advertising for the "sex trade" and this ssuehighlights their concern that the left wing in-activists in the city are fearful they will lose their place at the public trough.

Anyone recall them lapooning Comrade Miller and his cabal; ie: Vaughan, Ray, Mihevic, McConnell, Fletcher, et al. in a similar manner?

And let's not forget their contribution to solving homelessness...the paper is used for insulation of their clothing during the winter months.

Looks like he has some competition for being the jackpot winner at the Canadian Human Rights kangaroo courts. His competition is a transexual.

A lawyer from Quebec City says she was dumped as a federal New Democratic Party candidate because she is transgendered.

Micheline Montreuil alleges she was told by an NDP official that her sexuality hindered party attempts to woo new Quebec candidates into the fold.

Meanwhile, if Ms. Montreuil heads to court, it wouldn't be the first time.

Last month, the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal ruled the Canadian Forces discriminated against Ms. Montreuil in 2003, when it passed her up for a job as a grievance officer.

The tribunal ruled Ms. Montreuil's sexuality was the real reason she didn't get the position and awarded her $40,000.

She won a similar case in 2004 when the same tribunal ruled against the National Bank for failing to hire Ms. Montreuil as a customer service representative.

Good thing, too. Sex changes and hormone treatments can be expensive, and s/he seems to have a good plan for getting it all paid off...

Man faces 28 charges after sex workers confined

TORONTO — A 27-year-old Toronto man is facing a slew of firearms, drug and forcible confinement charges stemming from an incident at a downtown hotel early Tuesday.

It's alleged a man used a handgun to hold two sex trade workers in a room against their will.

Police say the suspect had fled by the time they arrived, but he was located later in the day and arrested following a short foot chase.

Officers say he was in possession of a loaded submachine gun, crack cocaine and Oxycodone pills, and a large amount of cash.

Jason Mills of no fixed address is facing a total of 28 charges.

The accused had a scheduled court appearance Wednesday morning in Toronto.
