WYNNER WHINING PROFUSELY...

Saturday, March 29, 2014

By Graeme MacKay, The Hamilton Spectator – Saturday, March 29, 2014 Wynne distances herself from McGuinty in wake of new allegations Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne struggled to distance herself Thursday from her predecessor Dalton McGuinty, amid explosive police allegations that his chief of staff may have committed a breach of trust in the ongoing gas … [Read more...]

BCF ANALYSIS OF oNTARIO pOLITICS...

When will Andrea Horwath bring down Kathleen Wynne’s government?

Likely never

The NDP have little hope of ever forming a government. Horwath will keep the Liberals in power as this pleases our predatory public service unions.

That's Ontario, the un-elected supported by the un-electable.

We the Tweeple: Quay to the city

Harbourfront-dwellers and commuters woke to a daunting scene on Monday morning, as Queens Quay between Bay and Spadina was entirely closed to eastbound traffic—as it will be for a few months, while the street is turned into Toronto’s “Champs-Élysées,” according to the vice president of Waterfront Toronto. It’ll include a tree-lined pedestrian promenade, bike lanes, and new streetcar tracks. Toronto tweeters hope the pain is worth the gain.

IT WILL ACCOMPLISH ONE GOAL OF INDIAN "LEADERS!"

Through the First Nations Control of First Nations Education Act, Prime Minister Stephen Harper released $1.252 billion in additional core-funding for First Nation’s education over three years starting in 2016.

Gloria Steinem can lead women to politics, but she can't make them change it

From Margaret Thatcher to Angela Merkel to Hillary Clinton, women have held some of the world's most powerful positions. But despite more women in politics, little has changed: They tend to play by the same rules, making the same mistakes, and just as many enemies.

Ontariowe: Province Of Anorexia Envirosa

Going green, turning blue;
"One thousand bucks is just insane, it's more than my paycheque in a week by a few hundred bucks," Joe Hebert said Tuesday of the sky-high electric bills that are arriving in this neighbourhood formerly known as The Villages, where 900 families have no choice but to heat their homes electrically.
"We just don't know what to do," Hebert said of the monthly bills that are hundreds of dollars higher than in previous winters due to rising electric rates and the coldest temperatures in 36 years.
[...]
They've already put extra insulation in the attic of their two-storey home that totals about 1,000 square feet. They don't heat their basement and turn off the heat entirely overnight, meaning the wakeup temperature is around 12C. Hebert and his neighbours say the conservation measures suggested, such as putting in new windows and doors, don't seem to help much.

QUESTION FOR CANADIAN "ACTIVISTS"

Who is protecting Canadian women being subjected to sharia "laws?" Where are the mullahs, the feminists, the law society?

Allowing sharia law sets dangerous precedent

In a genuinely shocking decision it was announced this week that sharia principles are to become enshrined in the British legal system, with the Law Society of the United Kingdom publishing guidelines for drawing up documents according to Islamic rules. These rules would allow lawyers to, for example, write Islamic wills which will have the power to exclude non-believers and deny women an equal share of an inheritance.

The guidelines state, “The male heirs in most cases receive double the amount inherited by a female heir of the same class. Non-Muslims may not inherit at all, and only Muslim marriages are recognized.” Good old sharia.

I lean to the right but I still have a heart and if I have a mission it is to respond to attacks on people not available to protect themselves and to point out the hypocrisy of the left at every opportunity.MY MAJOR GOAL IS HIGHLIGHT THE HYPOCRISY AND STUPIDITY OF THE LEFTISTS ON TORONTO CITY COUNCIL. Last word: In the final analysis this blog is a relief valve for my rants/raves.
