It Is At The Top Of The List

Right after completion of the waterfront vitalization which of course takes priority is because it falls in the feifdom of Comrade Miller which seems to end at Bloor Street.

Downsview a paradise to park our pipe dreams
July 03, 2007 Jim Coyle

Lots of things dear to many hearts have passed, alas, into obsolescence and fond memory. The $1 and $2 bills. The 10-cent telephone call. Eight-track tape players. Greenwood Raceway. Britnell's, Lichtman's, now Sam's. House calls by doctors. Children who are seen but not heard.
So we were delighted and relieved to note in yesterday's Star that one priceless commodity we feared had disappeared from the planet is, in fact, alive and well.
That would be delayed gratification.
In an age when communication is instant, when food is fast or drive-thru, when delivery is just-in-time, when the pizza's free if it isn't there in 30 minutes, it's more reassuring than words can say to Torontonians who prefer life in the slow lane to know we'll always have the promise of Downsview Park.

About Me

My photo
I lean to the right but I still have a heart and if I have a mission it is to respond to attacks on people not available to protect themselves and to point out the hypocrisy of the left at every opportunity.MY MAJOR GOAL IS HIGHLIGHT THE HYPOCRISY AND STUPIDITY OF THE LEFTISTS ON TORONTO CITY COUNCIL. Last word: In the final analysis this blog is a relief valve for my rants/raves.
