Who really makes out on the sale of gasoline?
“Hopefully you filled your gas tank yesterday, because today the gas tax in Minnesota went up for the third time this year. A gallon of gas in our state now has 25.5 cents of tax added to it. And if it were up to Senator Coleman’s opponent Al Franken, the increases wouldn’t end there. Franken has been a strong advocate of raising gas taxes and has said he favors as much as a 10-cent increase claiming, “I don’t think people would notice it so much.” That’s the kind of thinking Minnesotans can DEFINITELY do without!”
