Arts & Crafts

A recent advertisement in The Star, paid for by the Toronto Film committee, espouse the impact of the "arts" on the ecomomy, the number of jobs involved, the importance to tourism, etc. etc. and you have to wonder if the industry is that vital and vibrant why it is not able to sustain itself.

Arts matter, but does Big Brother have to pay the tab every time?
Christie Blatchford:

It would be ridiculous if Stephen Harper was so inarticulate or so misunderstood that those of us who like him were left to interpret what he means. MORE...

why don't you ask the same question about business that have access to all kinds of grants loans tax beraks etc.

Arts is very much a business and contributes just like business. This idea of separating it and kicking it in the teeth as if it's somehow different and not as worthy is the stuff for absolute morons.

Wake up idiot. All business receive help, the arts are no different.

Why do you think Harper had to lie about the 3 cases they used to show why they cut it? The 3 cases came forward publically and showed they outright lied, so that right there should tell any sane person the tories are full of shit.

And you, seem to enjoy eating said shit. Wipe your face afterwards so we don't have to smell it.
