Staff Reporters

Homicide detectives are looking for a teenager who they allege shot two men to death early yesterday in the city’s east-end near the Pickering border.

Police were called to a house on at 108 Rylander Blvd. for a shooting around 3:50 a.m. where they found one man inside and another victim nearby in a large,’70s-era black-SUV that had mounted a curb and crashed into a tree.

Police have identified the suspect as Livingston Davis, 16. The suspect's identity was protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, but police have been granted judicial authorization to temporarily release his name.

Investigators did not identify the two victims, aged 43 and 34, nor indicate what they think transpired on the residential street near Sheppard Ave. E. and Kingston Rd. Some neighbours said they weren’t surprised that something bad had happened in connection to the two-storey brick home. Some described it as a rooming house and a described it as a hub of activity, with cars coming and going around the clock.
