OTTAWA - Federal Liberals are considering an online leadership election by grassroots party members before Parliament resumes in late January if Stephane Dion succumbs to pressure to step down. Canwest News Service has learned the Liberal national executive is considering an online leadership vote as an alternative to the Liberal caucus - 77 MPs and 58 Senators - selecting a successor to Dion as early as Wednesday.
