Better late than never...
My predictions for 2010...
When parliament resumes, Stephen Harper will call a spring election. It will result in another minority. Both he and Michael Ignatief will resign as leaders.
The recent economic recovery will prove to be a blip. We’re not out of the tough times yet. (Sorry for the downer but many experts say the same thing.)
Airline passengers will revolt against the insane new security imposed on them. There will be an ugly scene at a major US airport.
OPEC will begin pricing oil in Euros rather than US dollars. That will be just the beginning of a major shift in the world economy.
Toronto will surpass 100 murders.
A terrorist will evade security by having a bomb surgically implanted in his (or her) body.
Barrack Obama, unable to meet the huge expectations, will prove to be an unremarkable president.
