iPhone app pays off for boy genius

Pierce Vallieres, who turned 15 Saturday, is a program developer who sold his first iPhone app to Apple and got his first paycheque just in time for his birthday. He's also taking flying lessons.

Pierce Vallieres may have taught himself to build an app while teaching others to solve the Rubik’s Cube, but he's not the geek you might expect.
