One reader thinks other Post letter writers should return to their pumpkin patches,

Since many Post readers identify themselves as conservatives or libertarians, it’s not surprising that a majority of our letters reflect those political philosophies. But we also regularly hear from readers who don’t share those views, such as on Tuesday, when we ran a note from a “bleeding heart liberal.”
Ron Brown started off by declaring that he’s “tired of right-wing ranters attracted to the Letters page.” After defending the long-form census, our current immigration system and the gun registry, he suggested that “redneck yahoos” who oppose these programs should “go back to your pumpkin patches and shoot something, preferably each other.” Read More »
