IMHO THEY DO MORE AND GIVE MORE...

...THAN MANY OF OUR "FRIENDS."

One for dog lovers: our best friends

The Kennel Club has announced the shortlisted finalists for the prestigious Crufts dog hero competition (UK), Friends for Life.

A dog that helps a Lance Corporal who was blinded during training; a Cocker Spaniel that detects fatally low sugar levels in a young boy with type 1 diabetes and a Labrador who helps a young girl with Spina Bifida are amongst the final five dog heroes who will compete in the public vote for the prestigious Friends for Life award at Crufts 2014. These are just some of the dogs celebrated at Crufts for the way that they enrich our lives. Above are Jessie, Radley, Molls, Velvet and Molly (Picture: Eddie Mulholland)
