How Much In Toronto Budget For Tree Planting

It looks like we need to add a little more $$$$$......

THE DEVIL IS IN THE DETAILS

CAMH TREE CHOP

In 1850, the Provincial Lunatic Asylum opened at 999 Queen W. – the infamous nine ninety-nine – today called the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). The address number was changed in 1998 to 1001 to leave behind any Bedlam-inspired baggage. Right now the CAMH is changing again, developing an “urban village” on its park-like grounds to further reduce the institutional stigma by providing care in a “community setting.” Sadly, about three quarters of the 500 trees on the site will be cut down for the development. Though not all are worth saving, Queen Street West is set to lose a large part of this green oasis.

About Me

My photo
I lean to the right but I still have a heart and if I have a mission it is to respond to attacks on people not available to protect themselves and to point out the hypocrisy of the left at every opportunity.MY MAJOR GOAL IS HIGHLIGHT THE HYPOCRISY AND STUPIDITY OF THE LEFTISTS ON TORONTO CITY COUNCIL. Last word: In the final analysis this blog is a relief valve for my rants/raves.
