Scarborough An Alternative To Leslieville?

But does this mean WalMart will have to close it's outlets........

Comments from a restaurant critic:
The emerging Leslieville, I'm told by real estate agents, is for twenty- and thirtysomethings with no children or young children; a place to invest in a first home before our entitled, middle-class spawn will need the comforts of a more affluent branch of our public school system
. I looked at three houses for sale (a reporter has to take the neighbourhood's pulse) and two of them were already outfitted with yoga studios.

Except now we're thinking even Queen East is overpriced and overhyped, and we're actually considering Scarborough, which apparently has a secret, or maybe not-so-secret-anymore, thriving artistic community. I probably shouldn't have let that cat out of the bag."

Too late, Sarah. Now all the cool kids are going to buy homes in Scarborough before you. It's going to lose all its cachet

A growing hunger for Leslieville

I lean to the right but I still have a heart and if I have a mission it is to respond to attacks on people not available to protect themselves and to point out the hypocrisy of the left at every opportunity.MY MAJOR GOAL IS HIGHLIGHT THE HYPOCRISY AND STUPIDITY OF THE LEFTISTS ON TORONTO CITY COUNCIL. Last word: In the final analysis this blog is a relief valve for my rants/raves.
