Paul Martin screwed Ontario, when he was decreasing the national debt, by reducing transfer payments and even after all the years you have been at Queens Park you weren't able to get your left wing buddies to re-instate those lost transfer payments and fiscally we are now a "have not" province. Did you hear about the two Ontarioians who walked into the employment office.......

Ontario, long considered the economic engine of Canada, will receive a federal equalization payment for the first time in its history. But Newfoundland and Labrador no longer needs the money, prompting Premier Danny Williams to say the "Newfie joke" is over.
Federal Finance Minister Jim Flaherty confirmed Monday that Ontario would receive about $347 million. The grants are usually reserved for "have not" provinces.
"Does it worry me? Yes of course it worries me," Flaherty told reporters at a news conference Monday afternoon. "The reality is, Ontario is entitled to enter the program and will be receiving substantial funds. Regrettably I think Ontario will be in the equalization program for some time to come."

Try telling the other half of the story if you're going to criticize McGuinty. Otherwise, you end up sounding like the other side that does the same thing that you constantly whine about.
First Trudeau raised the national debt, then, making him look practically fiscally conservative, then was the mulroney government that spent itself silly enlarging the national debt higher than any government in history and running skyrocketing deficits, that screwed Canadians.
I know, you can't bring yourself to admit a conservation fucked it up.
And gee. elect a PM that professed to put a 'firewall around alberta', what could possibly go wrong.
And the conservative solution is to cut taxes even more, so we can go further into debt and hobble healthcare even more.
We've already seen what Flaherty's idiot economics can do. Leaving Ontario with a huge deficit even in good economic times. You'd have to be an idiot to buy his stupidity.
Let's also remember also which parties opposed bank regulations that are currently saving are asses.
