Toronto Silly Hall has already turned homes into land transfer depots and we get to pay for this privilege while Comrade Miller and his cohorts add union jobs while we have a large group of people, and I am sure many have the ability to sort garbage, who live off my nickel.

Yes, you can put aluminum pie plates in the blue box. No, you cannot recycle aluminum foil – at least, not here.
Why? Apparently, the industry sets the rules – something about the "aluminum smelter. We can (recycle) aluminum cans and pie plates, but not aluminum foil – for metallurgic reasons," explains waste czar Geoff Rathbone.
