For almost a decade, Sun Media editorialists in Ontario have been banging their heads against the wall in their attempts to convince voters in their province, and the rest of the country, that Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty is an idiot.

...should be held accountable.

For as long as I can remember SDA commenter 'ET' has eloquently and accurately described socialism and communism as 2-tier systems. Not two equal tiers though. More like a tall piece of cake with a thin layer of icing on it. In the political realm the icing constitutes the Leftist elitists who have proclaimed themselves more intelligent, more wise, more sophisticated, and generally just more cool than the average Joe. This cadre of elitists look down upon Joe with great condescension, convinced that he doesn't have the intellectual acumen to run his own life, make his own investments, and even, in some cases, to wipe his own tush.

One of the most outspoken of these elitists is Canadian Naomi Klein. She has some new things to say about Global Warming. James Delingpole has some things to say right back at her!

New York Times bestselling author and conservative political commentator Ann Coulter’s new book, “Demonic: How the Liberal Mob is Endangering America”, tackles politics once again, this time taking on the liberal left and what she describes as their “mob behavior.”

In “Demonic,” Coulter traces the words and movements of groups from the Ku Klux Klan and the SDS to anti-war protesters and Democrats today to argue her point that liberals have “consistently used mob tactics to implement their idea of the ‘general will.’”

“Just as fire seeks oxygen, Democrats seek power, which is why they will always be found championing the mob whether the mob consists of Democrats lynching blacks or Democrats slandering the critics of Obama Care as racists,” Coulter writes.
“Demonic” is the eighth book from Coulter, also a frequent television political commentator.

Dwight Duncan will be meeting with public sector workers and union leaders on Tuesday to appeal to them about a two year wage freeze. Talk about a daunting task, the government wants to engage the biggest unionized workforce in the country and tell them that they must bear some of the burden facing this have not province with an increasing deficit. Good luck, although I am unsure of how the unions will react to this. We've known about it for quite some time now, since March in fact and there has been plenty of discussion surrounding this, and from my involvement in the university sector, it looks as though we will be telling them an resounding No.
